This Privacy Policy explains how Antique Identifier - Antiqly ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, processes and protects your information when you use our mobile application for iPhone, iPad and Android (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

a. Information you provide

• Photos or images you upload for identification or valuation
• Text descriptions you submit related to items
• Contact information if you reach out for support

b. Automatically collected information

• Device information (device model, operating system version, language settings)
• IP address (for security and fraud prevention)
• App usage data (feature interactions, crash logs, subscription status)
• Anonymous analytics data for product improvement

c. Financial information

All payments and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store, or by Google through Google Play on Android. We do not collect, access or store credit card or payment information.

2. How we use your information

We use collected data to:

• Provide antique identification and valuation results
• Improve identification accuracy and app performance
• Respond to support inquiries
• Detect fraud and maintain security
• Monitor app stability and usage trends

We do not sell personal data. We do not use user-submitted data for advertising purposes.

3. AI processing and image handling

When you upload an image for identification, the image is securely transmitted to our backend infrastructure (Google Firebase) and then securely processed by our AI service provider, OpenAI, solely for generating identification and valuation results.

• Images are used exclusively to generate requested results.
• User data is not used to train AI models.
• Images are not sold or shared for advertising.
• Images are not permanently stored unless explicitly required for feature functionality.
• Temporary processing data is automatically deleted after processing or within a limited retention period necessary for service reliability.

By uploading an image, you consent to this processing.

4. Third-party service providers

We share limited data strictly for app functionality with the following providers:

• OpenAI: AI-based image analysis
• Google Firebase (Google LLC): secure backend infrastructure and cloud functions
• RevenueCat: subscription management
• Apple App Store and Google Play: billing and payment processing
• Analytics providers: anonymous usage statistics and crash reporting

All third-party providers are required to maintain data protection standards equal to or greater than ours.

5. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide requested features, ensure system reliability and fraud prevention, and comply with legal obligations. Temporary AI processing data is deleted automatically after processing unless required for short-term system diagnostics. You may request deletion of your associated data at any time.

6. Children's privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Data security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. However, no digital transmission or storage system is completely secure.

8. Your rights

You may contact us at any time to request deletion of data, request clarification about stored data, or ask questions about how your data is processed: antiqly@obzena.com.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Antiqly for Chrome (browser extension)

This section applies to the Antiqly for Chrome extension ("the extension"), published by Obzena LLC, 30 N Gould St #45213, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Where it differs from the sections above, this section applies to the extension.

When it reads a page: only when you ask it to, by right-clicking an image and choosing "Identify with Antiqly" or picking an image with Alt+Shift+A. Chrome then gives the extension temporary access to that tab only (activeTab).

Data sent for an identification: the image you chose (a resized copy, or its web address if your browser can't read it), its alt text, the page title and the site's domain. These go to our server (Google Cloud / Firebase) and our AI provider, OpenAI, to identify the item. Images are processed in memory and not stored by us; OpenAI does not use API data to train its models.

No account: a random installation ID links your plan to this browser. Your identification history (last 20) stays in your browser; results are kept on our server for 24 hours so a retried request isn't charged twice.

Payments: the extension's subscriptions are processed by Stripe on Stripe's checkout page, not by Apple. Stripe shares with us the plan, renewal date, subscription status and the email you entered; we never receive your card number. We report subscriptions to RevenueCat (subscription analytics) with a pseudonymous ID. The email is also used to send the code for "Restore purchase".

Not collected: browsing history, the content of pages you did not ask the extension to look at, your location, or analytics about how you use the extension. We do not sell your data or show ads.

Retention: images are not stored; plan, installation ID, usage counts and email are kept while your subscription is active and up to 24 months after it ends, or longer where the law requires. To delete your data, remove the extension and email us at antiqly@obzena.com.

This website

antiqly.app is a static website. If analytics is enabled, it uses Google Analytics to count visits and clicks on store buttons; it does not use advertising cookies and does not ask for personal information.
